Biorfe Bokashi Komposter 220L lids are designed to be airtight. It is important that the wastes remain in an anaerobic environment without oxygen. For this reason, you should collect your daily waste and throw it away at once a day.
The inside of the Biorfe bokashi canister consists of two parts. The upper section is for disposal of food waste and the lower section is for collecting bokashi water (liquid fertilizer) filtered from waste. This accumulated bokashi water needs to be taken every day from the drain cock mounted under the Bidone. After taking this liquid fertilizer, you can dilute it with chlorine-free water one hundred to one (1: 100) and give it to the plants.
After the container is full, you should keep it for at least 2 weeks with the lid closed in a dark place not exposed to direct sunlight. This waiting period is important for fermentation. After the fermentation process is complete, you can bury the pulp formed in the soil by digging a hole (at least 30 cm).
You can plant plants and saplings on this soil after two months or you can use your composting pulp as fertilizer.
